I just saw you'd turned my files into a plug in, I'm going to have to try this. Btw I go under the name dean pansy when I don't want to be recognised
All the best Sean/dean/andy |

Love all the great Sounds you Developers have given us, the spirit of your creativity lives on through us in our music. It's inspirational, and brings new life the closer I get to a real sound. And so far all the Drum VST's here at VST4Free have been stellar. |

Hands down, one of the best snares I've ever used. Great job. If I were to change anything, I would make the root note middle C or I'd make every note on the keyboard play the same thing. Otherwise, I have to transpose it in FL Studio to use it in a sequencing pattern. |

Plugin does not work for me. I loaded the .dll file, the UI shows up, but no sound.. I am guessing it can't find the samples? |

You need to copy and paste the whole zip content, not only the .dll file. |

This is THE SNARE! :) The "silk-meter" function is a miracle :) |

Copy and paste it where? Every time I download a vst it says "cant find instrument" even though I extracted other files to the same location as the Dll. |

You should have the .dll along the "Black Noh Snare.instruments" folder that contains a .mse file. Keep the exact structure from the zip to your vst folder and it should work... |

I extracted the dll and the mse file to a specific"BNS" folder and it still says " cant find instrument. Very frustated... lol, Steve Hunt. |

Be sure to let the mse file inside the "Black Noh Snare.instruments" folder and don't rename anything of course. Like I said before, extract the zip to your plugin folder just like it is... |

I feel that having the rimshot at a separate note number would be a more elegant solution. Idea for an update? |

It's demo sounds amazing but remember to use the velocity layers wisely as the high peaks of velocity are reversed for rimshot, it says on the page don't come crying to me because you are hitting the 127 layer of velocity and are hearing a rimshot.... more or less in other words, it has 9 velocity layers which are each it's own sample, I want to give this one a whirl since i play metal like in the audio demo's and lack the skill set to be a drummer. |

I know, it's very limited. But it's predestined for modern metal, here's a really bad demo mix using only (!) the Black Noh. :)

Not bad sound but it doesn't have too many options. |
