ATK SD1 - Boss DS1 emulation
ATK SD1 is an emulation of the famous Boss SD1 overdrive.

It is built on top of the Audio ToolKit library, and implements the overdrive (oversampling x8) and the tone sections of the original pedal. Contrary to usual distortions, the SD1 features an asymmetric overdrive section that adds even harmonics to the sound.

Comes in VST and VST3.

Does not work for me.. Keep making very loud noise that completely drowns all the input signal out :-(

The sound is nowhere like it's "gold" GUI. Enough said.

Hi Mathieu, First and foremost, thank you for releasing this plugin. Hats off to you my friends and I hope good fortune comes to you :) This plugin makes for a great addition before an amp plugin and I would like very much to use it. A while back I downloaded v1.0.1, however, unfortunately when I put any plugin after it the DAW becomes choppy. I just downloaded v2.0.0 and it sounds better and runs a little better, but my DAW becomes choppyI wish I had great news to report, haha. In case you are wondering, here is some of my system specs:- Win7 - 64Bit - 2.33Ghz 4-core Xenon processor - 20GB of RAM - RealTek HD sound card - DAW: Adobe Audition C. I've tried the following rates and samples: Khz: 44.1Khz, 44Khz, 96KhzBit Rates: 16, 24, 32 (float) - ASIO4ALL (used in DAW). I edit the registry for ASIO4ALL and set the sample rate respectively to which ever rate I'm trying. I also edit the ASIO4ALL registry for the buffer so I can set it lower than what ASIO4ALL's GUI will allow. I set the ASIO4ALL buffer to 32. For reassurance that that my registry hack (which pushes ASIO4ALL past it's limits) isn't the cause (anf I'm guessing) - I can say that many times I have recorded sessions with multiple plugins and tracks, playing live and recording at the same time - using my registry hack and I never experience choppiness. Things that increase the choppiness: - Turning the Drive up - Turning the Volume up - Turning the Tone up. However, with all up or all down, it is still choppy. I can't say for sure that your plugin is even the cause of the choppiness, I try to be open minded, haha. Anyway, thank you for offering it for free :) Mike

This plugin sucks! I try to use it with Ableton Live 9 and it causes the program to crash!
