GREAT VST! I love it. Good presets and some empty ones for you to use. Light on cpu but still sounds awesome! 100 out 5 for sure. Wish it had a better piano preset but oh well, at least u can tweak it and make the best out of it. GET IT NOW!
Been looking for a decent roland JUNO 106 emulation since my hardware packed up. DCFs will never come close to VCFs, particularly at the extreme ends of the keyboard. It has square wave LFO, which most emulations haven't, and this contributes a lot to the unique sound these vintage rolands are famous for. Couldn't find noise, which was a shame, and because of the fuller feature set recreating juno patches is harder. This also has velocity sensitivity, similar to a bit 99 in how it works. Best "analogue" VST I've tried yet, including commercial.
The flagship of GTG. The appearance is simplistic, but it has some serious punch. I unfortunately downloaded the JP7A and the KWOP first and was not impressed. I stumbled on this one much later and LOVED it.
I confess I downloaded this (as a fish out of an ocean of free vst synths) only because its rating here were so good.
I already chose my fixed pallete of *essential* synths -- to avoid getting lost with gazillions of mediocre and crap sounding stuff.. I only add a new one if the synth really impresses me. And I can honestly say: GTG 44S IT *IS* IMPRESSIVE!
Warm, very analog sounding...I liked very much!
Simple, very easy to program, low CPU...no ARP or FX though (only a simple CHORUS). Aprox 50 presets, but it's really easy to create good sounds with no hassle!
5 out of 5!!
