Great sounding plugin with low CPU usage! Impressed as always with DD freeware!
DD, Thank you so much for all of your software! I just started producing this year, and your plugins have been instrumental (no pun intended) in all of my songs. Given my setup (poor college student), i'm unable to run CPU intensive plugins, so i really appreciate all of the hard work you've put into these efficient VSTs! Such a blessing man. I look forward to your future releases! |

You can run more CPU extensive plugins you just have to learn how to freeze and flatten your tracks in your DAW afterwards. Don't keep them up running. Do what you need then either freeze it or even convert it to audio because most of the time it's the MIDI clogging everything up when it's constantly pulling samples sounds from the plugin thru the DAW. Audio is way easier to work with for a CPU. Also another huge factor is the bit depth and sample rate you're using in your DAW you honestly only need 16 n 44.1, or 24 n 48 at most. #StayInspired. |

I got the Lounge Lizard vst as part of a hardware purchase (part of a 100 bundle). This epiano blows it out of the water. Don't know the history of mr dead duck, but his vstis are incredible. The effects, less so - but sent into quality effects, his synths come alive in a very big way. |

This is one of the best Electric Piano (Fender Rhodes) emulations I have ever heard (and I have heard a lot of them). Even more surprising is the fact that it is FREE. Dead Duck used the coding legally to update this great software from an old mda plug-in called mda e-Piano (which I have). The sounds in the mda plug-in were created from a real Fender Rhodes piano. mda's plug-ins are under the MIT license (mda gives you permission to use them). Dead Duck also credits mda in their DPiano-E plug-in (click on the upper half of the interface where it says Electric Piano for the credits). Dead Ducks version has been updated with a new GUI (which looks great) and is now also 64 bit. |
