Papaya - Steel drums
Papaya is a physically modelled mallet synthesizer.

It features a nice chorus module, and does a very good job of simulating steel drums, and other carribean type percussion.

Really doesn't sound like a steel drum at all.

Sounds absolutely nothing like a steel drum. It's more like a bell. You're better off with BellSynth.

It sounds like someone sampled glass against metal, pitched it to three different octaves, and played all three at once. I'm actually being serious, too. If you try it, keep the volume down.
