Ripchord - MIDI chord tool
Ripchord is a simple MIDI plugin for creating and remixing chord progressions.

It lets you easily map multiple output notes to a given input note so that you can create your own custom chord mappings, and then experiment with the order and the rhythm of the chords by simply playing one note at time.

Ripchord is free and will always be free, and you can also download free presets from the community.

Los VST3 no tienen archivos ".dll". Tienes que 1) descomprimir Ripchord.zip, 2) encuentra el archivo -> RipchordWindowsRipchord.vst3 3) moverlo a la carpeta -> C:Program FilesCommon FilesVST3 y finalmente

Too much intimidating facebook hassles for such lack of functionality. Better look for Chordz by CodeFN42

OK, a note to chord MIDI mapper. Right. But what about chord transposition? How it is now, user can only play back the chord in it's original key. Useful, but not very useful. It would be awesome if the keyboard was split and would allow user to transpose +-12 notes by holding a key together with the original key. Most of the presets are using just one octave, so the rest of the keyboard is not used. If chords are being played back from, let's say C3-C4, then, transposing could be done from, let's say C2-B2. So, when user plays with just one finger (C3-C4), then the chords are played back as they are now, but if user holds, for example, D2 and hits one of the chord keys (C3-C4), then the chords should play all transposed -1 for example. This would be super simple to implement in the UI, each preset would need just one number set, a note number where transposing would be rooted. For example, a preset is using C3-B3 for it's chords, then, if user sets C2 as a transpose root, holding D2 would transpose +1, while holding B1 would transpose -1. Of course, keys that already have chords assigned would play the chord, not do the transposing. In that way, it would really be a useful chord remixing tool. Just speaking my mind here.

You could assign midi to transpose (other vst), also Keyboard split (other vst), then stack these three to get what you describe.

I don't see how is this possible without complex routing since Ripchord does not let through the keys that are not assigned to chords.

Route initial to two channels. Split in both complementarily. Chord one. Route the chorded with the other to a single channel. Transpose there.

Complex routing, indeed. I would rather forget about this plug-in altogether than go through such a hustle each and every time I want to drop some chords.

It seems then that you don't really consider it as a real need, or you wouldn't bother implementing a solution. Because others would be ready to implement far more complex routings to meet their actual production needs (e.g for parallel compression, sidechaining effects, etc) e.g not just random thoughts. Might be good then for the developer to rank such request appropriately.
