Only 7 samples, no accents or round robin or even multiple outputs. You better go with Goldbaby's free "Tape 606" samples, Wave Alchemy's free "606 Drums" (available on Rekkerd), Red Module's "Free Roland 606" or even with the Don Solaris free sample set, and play the samples in a free sampler like TX16Wx.

Came across Red-Module last weekend, superb samples. The free 606 set was so good I immediately bought the 192kHz version. The MR-10 set is also nicely captured, the saturated toms sound amazing. Made a round-Robin exs24 instrument with the wave alchemy set a couple of years ago, but ended up leaning towards the GoldBaby set, but I feel the Red-Miduke set is gonna be my new favourite.

These are some superb suggestions, however you're missing the point of having a drum machine vst that's already set up and mapped you can quickly open up to get sounds going in the first place. We all know with a sampler we get caught more often going thru the million one shots we have. Plus if you really need multiple outs just open up multiple instances it's very lightweight on cpu
It sounds just like the vintage TR-606. I'm so happy it's also Mac compatible. I'm looking for a Virtual Linn 9000 and Simmons Vst for Mac if anyone knows where I can get a free version of either please let me know. Thanks in advance.
